Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Kyslan, a marketing service for dental practices operated by Northbeams Inc. ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them. If you are using Kyslan on behalf of a practice, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

The service

Kyslan audits your website, services and Google reviews, tracks your reviews over time, drafts replies and marketing copy, and, where you connect your Google Business Profile, helps you manage that profile. The audit is free. The paid Kyslan subscription, when offered, is described at the point of purchase and billed in advance for each billing period.

Your account

• Keep your sign-in details confidential and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
• Only connect websites and Google listings that you own or are authorised to manage.
• You are responsible for everything you publish, including replies and copy that Kyslan drafted for you. Review drafts before posting them.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Kyslan lawfully and in line with Google's policies for Business Profiles and reviews. In particular, you will not use Kyslan to solicit reviews selectively based on expected sentiment, offer incentives for reviews, post reviews you did not genuinely receive, or reply to reviews in a way that discloses patient health information.

Your data

You keep ownership of the content you provide and the content generated for you. You grant us the licence needed to operate the service, including processing it with our service providers as described in our privacy policy.

No professional advice

Scores, benchmarks and suggestions are produced automatically from public data and AI models. They may be incomplete or wrong, and they are not legal, medical, regulatory or financial advice. Advertising rules for healthcare differ by country; check that anything you publish complies with the rules that apply to you.

Availability and changes

We may change or discontinue features, and we will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce a paid plan. The service relies on third parties, including Google and Anthropic, whose availability we do not control.

Liability

Kyslan is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost revenue or lost patients. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time by emailing hello@northbeams.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. The paid subscription can be cancelled before the next billing period; fees already paid are not refunded unless the law requires it.
